On January 14, 2025, BSE share price traded up by 5.34% at 11:16 AM (IST) at ₹5,422.90, while the BSE benchmark Sensex gained 482.48 points to 76,812.49. BSE share price reached a 52-week high of ₹5,837.95 on December 20, 2024, and a 52-week low of ₹1,941.05 on March 19, 2024. As per NSE, the total traded volume for the stock stood at 12.89 lakh shares with a turnover of ₹688.60 crore.

At the current price, BSE shares are trading at a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 94.95x, based on its trailing 12-month earnings per share (EPS) of ₹61.09, and a price-to-book (P/B) ratio of 18.93, according to exchange data.

Shareholding Details

As of September 30, 2024, Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) held a 13.01% stake in BSE shares, while Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) owned 11.68%, and the public (Retailers) held 52.40%.

BSE Q2 FY25 Results

BSE reported a three-fold surge in net profit to ₹346 crore for the September quarter, compared to ₹118 crore in the same period last year, according to a company statement.

The bourse’s total revenue more than doubled to ₹819 crore in Q2 FY25, up from ₹367 crore in the year-ago quarter. BSE also achieved its highest-ever half-year revenue and profit of ₹1,493 crore and ₹610 crore.

Additionally, the average daily turnover in the equity cash segment rose to ₹9,768 crore during Q2 FY25, up from ₹5,922 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
