On April 16, Maruti Suzuki led the top losers of the day, witnessing a 1.60% drop, closing at ₹11,665. Hindalco followed with a 1.29% decline, finishing at ₹609.65. Crude oil prices saw a rise, with WTI Crude increasing by 0.95% to US$61.91, Brent Crude up 0.93% at US$65.27, and Murban Crude gaining 0.86% to reach US$66.60.
