During Q3 FY2024, the company recorded a rise of 17.3% in consolidated revenue from operations to ₹13,572.47 crore. The D Mart operator posted a growth of 17% in its consolidated net profit to ₹690.61 crore against ₹589.68 crore in the same quarter of the last year. The earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter amounted to ₹1,120 crore, reflecting an improvement from ₹965 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The EBITDA margin remained steady at 8.3%, indicating its efficient management of operational costs. In addition, the company increased its footprint by opening 5 new stores during the quarter. With this expansion, the company’s total number of stores reached 341.
