Eicher Motors Limited, the parent company of Royal Enfield, has announced a proactive service action concerning certain motorcycles manufactured between November 2022 and March 2023.

During routine testing, Royal Enfield identified a potential issue with the rear and/or side reflectors fitted on these motorcycles. The company found that some reflectors might not meet the required reflective performance standards, with the reflective quality potentially being lower than necessary. While the issue has been detected in a very small number of motorcycles, Royal Enfield has decided to replace the reflectors on all affected units as a precautionary measure.

The company will offer this replacement service free of cost to all customers, ensuring safety and compliance with global standards. The replacement process is expected to take approximately 15 minutes per motorcycle. Royal Enfield’s service teams will initiate this replacement in a phased manner, starting with motorcycles in South Korea, the USA, and Canada, followed by India, Brazil, Latin America, Europe, and the UK.

Royal Enfield has assured customers that they will be contacted by their service teams to arrange for the replacement. The company is committed to maintaining the safety of its riders and upholding high standards of quality and durability.

This initiative reflects Royal Enfield’s dedication to customer care and safety, ensuring that all motorcycles continue to meet global safety standards. The company has emphasised that this service action is being taken proactively to ensure rider safety, even though the issue has been reported in only a small number of motorcycles. Royal Enfield continues to prioritise its riders’ well-being and the quality of its motorcycles across all markets.
