On February 01, 2025, Exide Industries share price traded 0.64% higher at ₹376.85 at 11:23 AM (IST). Exide Industries’s share price reached a 52-week high of ₹620 on June 25, 2024, and a 52-week low of ₹290.40 on March 19, 2025. As per BSE, the total traded volume for the stock stood at 0.80 lakh shares with a turnover of ₹3 crore.

At the current price, Exide Industries shares are trading at a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 28.97x, based on its trailing 12-month earnings per share (EPS) of ₹13.01, and a price-to-book (P/B) ratio of 2.26, according to exchange data.

Shareholding Details

As of December 31, 2024, Exide Industries promoters held 45.99% of the shares, Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) owned 11.72%, and Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) held 17.64%.

Exide Industries Q3 FY25 Results

Exide Industries reported a slight increase in revenue for the third quarter of FY25, with Revenue from Operations rising to ₹4,016.72 crore, compared to ₹3,979.83 crore in Q3 FY24.

However, the company experienced a notable decline in profitability, as Net Profit After Tax (PAT) fell to ₹158.44 crore, down from ₹202.69 crore in the same period last year.

Profit Before Tax (PBT) also decreased, standing at ₹238.02 crore in Q3 FY25, compared to ₹280.64 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY24.

Despite the revenue increase, the company faced operational pressures, and efficiency remains a key area of focus.

The company’s key expenses included ₹2,650.12 crores for the cost of materials consumed, ₹323.49 crores for employee benefits, ₹589.48 crores for other expenses, and ₹54.36 crores for finance costs.
