Fischer Medical Ventures Ltd is investing in and working with Bio Angle Vacs Sdn Bhd, a top biotech company from Malaysia. Established in 2013, Bio Angle Vacs specialises in creating and distributing vaccines for livestock and aquaculture. It is known for its innovative vaccine delivery methods that ensure high quality, safety, and effectiveness.
Their main product, the Spray Technology Vaccine (STVAC), uses advanced technology to provide both local and overall immune protection. This vaccine, delivered through a simple nasal spray, is designed to protect goats and sheep from pneumonia, a disease that affects 30% to 60% of these animals worldwide. Unlike traditional vaccines that require injections and are costly and stressful for animals, STVAC is easier to administer, less stressful for animals, and more affordable for farmers. It significantly lowers pneumonia-related death rates in goats and sheep to below 5%.
