Gold prices surged across major metro cities in India on December 30, 2024. The price of 24-carat gold rose by ₹160 to ₹75,920 per 10 grams in Mumbai, while 22-carat gold increased by ₹150 to ₹72,300.
In Delhi, the 24-carat gold price climbed above the ₹76,100 mark, rising by ₹160 to reach ₹76,130 per 10 grams. However, global holiday season trading volumes remained thin, resulting in a lackluster movement in the yellow metal. Meanwhile, spot gold was flat at $2,615.15 an ounce during the afternoon session.
