HCL Technologies Limited (HCLTech) has announced an extension of its strategic AI-driven Engineering Services and Digital Process Operations (DPO) partnership with Xerox.
HCLTech stated that it will help Xerox with its Reinvention strategy, which focuses on a comprehensive and structural redesign to position Xerox for sustainable and profitable long-term growth.
As part of this extended partnership, HCLTech will utilise its automation expertise, product and sustenance engineering, and process operations services, including Order to Cash, Sales and Marketing Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement, enhanced by its advanced full-stack GenAI platform, HCLTech AI Force. This platform will provide a unified interface, transforming how Xerox’s employees and clients interact with the company.
Additionally, HCLTech will support the newly established Xerox Global Business Services (GBS) organisation in achieving critical business metrics, such as improving working capital, device connectivity, sales efficiency, and the effectiveness of remote problem-solving. This collaboration will further enhance Xerox’s digital transformation initiatives.
The partnership between HCLTech and Xerox, which began in 2009, initially focused on product engineering, IT, and process support services. Leveraging its global delivery network across multiple countries, including India, Guatemala, Portugal, Bulgaria, Romania, the Philippines, and Sri Lanka, HCLTech has supported Xerox’s digital transformation journey. Over the years, HCLTech and Xerox have jointly secured 215 U.S. patents and established world-class R&D labs, seamlessly integrated with Xerox’s infrastructure and standards.
Commenting on this collaboration, the Executive Vice President, Chief Transformation and Administrative officer at Xerox, Louie Pastor, said, “As we continue our Reinvention, our aim is to drive enterprise-wide efficiency by centralising processes, platforms, and capabilities. By extending our agreement with HCLTech and leveraging its expertise, Xerox will become more agile while continuously improving employee and client experiences. This collaboration underscores our dedication to enabling client and partner success across the hybrid workplace.”
Raghu Kidambi, Corporate Vice President and Global Head of Digital Process Operations at HCLTech, stated, “We are proud to partner with Xerox and look forward to deepening our collaboration to drive strategic value in new service development, growth and cost optimisation. We are dedicated to supporting Xerox in navigating the workplace evolution, enabling a more AI-driven, engineering services-led and software-enabled organisation.”
