Infosys Foundation, the philanthropic and CSR arm of Infosys, has announced a 4-year collaboration with INAE to transform engineering education in India. With a ₹38 crore investment, the initiative will focus on upskilling educators, providing project-based internships, and offering mentorship to students.
This collaboration, with an investment of over ₹38 crore, aims to upskill educators, strengthen technical expertise, and provide students with project-based internships and mentorships.
The initiative will focus on improving the teaching capabilities of over 2,000 educators and mentoring around 1,700 engineering students, the company said in a press release on the stock exchange.
INAE will play a vital role in offering practical learning through internships and year-long mentorships to students enrolled in B. Tech and B. E. courses. Infosys Foundation’s involvement will ensure that educators gain enhanced skills in both technical knowledge and classroom management, thereby raising the overall standard of engineering education in the country.
Infosys has announced the schedule for its Q3 FY2025 earnings. The company’s board will meet on January 15 and 16, 2025, to review and approve the financial results for the quarter ending December 31, 2024.
On December 20, 2024, Infosys’ share price traded 0.29% lower at ₹1,940.50 by 12:15 PM on the NSE. The stock opened at ₹1,975.15, higher against ₹1,946.20 at the previous close.
