At the current price, IRCTC shares are trading at a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 51.97x, based on its trailing 12-month earnings per share (EPS) of ₹15.27, and a price-to-book (P/B) ratio of 17.70, according to exchange data.
As of September 30, 2024, Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) held a 7.54% stake in IRCTC shares, while Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) owned 13.92%, and the promoters held 62.40%.
For the quarter ending September 30, 2024, IRCTC reported a total income of ₹1,123 crore, marking an 8.1% increase from ₹1,039 crore in Q2 FY24. The net profit rose to ₹307.8 crore, compared to ₹294.7 crore during the same period last year.
Operating revenue climbed to ₹1,064 crore from ₹992.4 crore a year earlier. Meanwhile, the company’s EBITDA saw a marginal year-on-year rise to ₹372.79 crore, although the EBITDA margin declined by 190 basis points to 35% from 36.9% in the previous year.
