Kamdhenu Shares to Trade Ex-Date on Jan 8: Stock Split of 1:10

Shares of Kamdhenu Limited, a manufacturer and distributor of TMT Bars will trade ex-date on January 8, 2025, for its planned stock split.

The company through an exchange filing announced that it had fixed January 8, 2025, as the “Record Date” for determining the entitlement of Equity Shareholders for division/split of existing Equity Shares of the Company having a face value of ₹10 each fully paid‐up into Equity Shares having face value of ₹1 each fully paid‐up, ranking pari‐passu in all respects, as approved by the Equity Shareholders of the Company by way of Ordinary Resolution passed at Extra – Ordinary General Meeting held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.

Kamdhenu Q2 FY25 Performance

Following a difficult Q1, the company saw a robust recovery in revenue growth during Q2, largely fueled by a rise in construction activity. Despite regional flooding challenges, Q2 FY25 revenue reached ₹190 crores, marking a 3% year-over-year increase. Volume sales through the franchisee route grew by 11% Y-o-Y. Although the average selling price of TMT bars declined, the company still experienced a 1% revenue growth from its own facility, driven by an 8% increase in volume sales from this facility.

The company’s brand reputation for quality and reliability continues to distinguish it in the market, attracting new franchisees and driving robust growth in royalty revenue, which rose by 11% to ₹33 crores. This royalty income remains highly capital-efficient, generating significant returns without substantial capital investment, leveraging the brand’s strength. This performance highlights the company’s ability to expand its franchise network while consistently meeting customer expectations for dependable products.
