LTIMindtree, according to the recent reports, has taken its partnership with UK tech retailer Currys to the next level, helping the retailer transform how it serves customers both online and in-store. Since teaming up in 2021, the duo has revamped Currys’ omnichannel experience, which earned them the Salesforce Partner Innovation Award at Dreamforce 2024 in San Francisco. By leveraging Salesforce’s Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and MuleSoft, LTIMindtree has helped Currys become more efficient and customer-centric in its operations.

Currys’ Digital Overhaul: A Game Changer

At the center of this partnership is a complete re-platforming of Currys’ website, powered by Salesforce Commerce Cloud. Currys had 719 stores and more than 24,000 employees across six countries and wanted a seamless online shopping experience delivered by LTIMindtree. Alongside the website overhaul, an in-store client app was launched on Salesforce Experience Cloud that further empowers store associates in assisting customers. On the back end, the implementation of Salesforce Service Cloud has strengthened post-sales support, ensuring faster service and a good overall experience for customers after their purchase.

Efficiencies & Innovation on the Rise

With the digital solutions created by LTIMindtree, the efficiency of Currys has improved, as has that of customer experience. Andy Gamble, Currys’ CIO, called the revamped platform one that Currys could be in pole position in driving speed of service, innovation, and efficiency across its retail operations. The partnership has very much enabled Currys to develop further, taking the best of online shopping into offline shopping.

Conclusion: Looking ahead, Srinivas Rao, Executive Vice President at LTIMindtree, sees this partnership as a milestone achievement in the retail space. The digital transformation has boosted both employee satisfaction and customer experience at Currys, setting the stage for future innovations. With this award, LTIMindtree and Currys seem to be getting started, with more opportunities for growth and innovation coming up.
