Share Market Pre Open Updates – June 28, 2024

On June 27, 2024, the Nifty 50 rose by 0.74% and closed at 24,044, and the Sensex grew by 0.72%, closing at 79,243. 

Top Gainers and Losers

On the sectoral front, Nifty IT, Nifty Oil & Gas, Nifty Auto and Nifty Metal ended in the green. Meanwhile, Nifty Media, Nifty PSU Bank, Nifty Pharma, and Nifty Bank declined. The top gainers were Ultra Tech Cement, Bosch, LTI Mindtree, and ABB India, which showed positive movement. On the other hand, PNB, Havells India, Godrej Consumer Products, and TVS Motor were the top losers of the day.

Ultra Tech Cements and RVNL were in the news on June 27, 2024.

• Ultra Tech Cements acquired a 19.44% stake in India Cements Ltd at ₹267.  As a result, the Ultra Tech Cements share price rose 5% and closed ₹11,749.
• Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) secured an order worth ₹72 crore. This news led the RVNL shares to grow 1.17%.
