Pricol share price dropped by 1.56% to ₹545.10 in early trading on January 3, following the company’s announcement of the divestment of its wiping business division.

Divestment Details 

The company’s board approved selling its wiping business division to Auto Ignition through a slump sale agreement. The transaction is valued at ₹20 crore, subject to adjustments in the business transfer agreement. In FY24, the wiping business generated ₹66.36 crore in revenue.

Recent Developments 

In December, Pricol’s subsidiary, Pricol Precision Products, acquired Sundaram Auto Components’ injection moulding business for ₹215.3 crore in an all-cash deal.

52-Week Performance 

Pricol shares reached a 52-week high of ₹598.85 in December 2024 and a low of ₹330.50 in March 2024. The stock is currently trading 8.98% below its 52-week high and 64.93% above its 52-week low.

Pricol Reports Strong Profit Growth in Q2 FY25

Pricol posted a consolidated net profit of ₹45.07 crore in Q2 FY25, reflecting a 35.95% increase from ₹33.15 crore in Q2 FY24. Revenue from operations grew by 15.53% year-on-year to ₹650.07 crore.

The company’s profit before tax (PBT) was ₹60 crore in Q2 FY25, marking a 35.74% rise from ₹44.20 crore in Q2 FY24. EBITDA surged 24.70% YoY to ₹87.12 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 13.40%. For the first half of FY25, Pricol’s net profit rose by 39.23% to ₹906.31 crore. Revenue for the period increased by 15.50% to ₹12,530 crore compared to H1 FY24.
