On September 28, 2024, Radico Khaitan Limited, a leading Indian company in the IMFL (Indian Made Foreign Liquor) segment, introduced its latest Indian Single Malt Whisky, the Rampur Barrel Blush, at Whisky Live Paris 2024. The event, known for showcasing international spirits, will run from September 28 to September 30 at La Grande Halle de La Villette in Paris.
The Rampur Barrel Blush, crafted in India, reflects a blend of tradition and expert whisky-making skills. This premium single malt starts ageing in American Bourbon barrels, which gives it flavours of vanilla, oak, and gentle spices. It is then finished in Australian Shiraz wine casks, adding hints of ripe berries, dark fruits, and a subtle tannic touch. The result is a bold and balanced whisky that offers a rich and layered taste experience.
The Rampur Barrel Blush will be released in the fall of 2024 across Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States. It will have a suggested price of $105.
