Siemens reported its Q4 Results: Net Profit surges 70.1% on YoY Basis

Siemens Ltd. is a flagship listed company of Siemens Aktiengesellschaft in India with a market capitalization of more than Rs.2 Lakh crores. Siemens Ltd has reported its Q4 FY 2023-24 results today after market hours, The company has recorded a 70.1% year-on-year surge in its net profits.

Q4 Performance of Siemens Ltd.

During the March quarter, Siemens Ltd. reported a net profit of Rs.802.5 crores against a net profit of Rs.471.4 crores in Q4 FY 2022-23, a surge of 70.1%. The revenue for the quarter surged by 18.4% to Rs.5,749.9 crores in this quarter from Rs.4,857.8 crores in Q4 FY 2022-23.

EBITDA for this quarter increased by 41.4% to Rs.878.2 crores from Rs.621.2 crores in Q4 FY 2022-23, The EBITDA Margins for Q4 FY 2023-24 have surged by 250 Bps to 15.3% from 12.8% in Q4 FY 2022-23.  

Board approves demerger of its energy arm

Siemens Ltd. in its regulatory filing has mentioned that it has given the green light to the demerger of its energy business into an independent entity named Siemens Energy India Limited. The new company, reflecting Siemens Limited’s current shareholding, will undergo listing after obtaining the necessary approvals. Under the arrangement proposed by the board, Siemens Limited shareholders are going to receive one share of Siemens Energy India Limited for each share they hold in the company, Siemens Limited. This listing will occur on both the BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited.

The stock of Siemens Ltd. closed at Rs.6,660 a piece today and it is up by more than 70% over the past one year.
