Sterlite Technologies (STL) has announced a strategic partnership with Wyre to support the development of a high-speed Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) network across Flanders and Brussels in Belgium. This collaboration aims to enhance broadband connectivity while minimising construction disruptions through efficient deployment strategies.
Wyre follows a partnership-driven approach to deploying fibre infrastructure, ensuring minimal impact on communities during construction. The company sought a design and manufacturing partner capable of delivering practical, flexible, and high-performance solutions.
STL, with its expertise in agile design thinking, stepped in to co-develop a customised connectivity solution tailored to Wyre’s specific requirements.
Leveraging nearly two decades of experience in the region, STL is providing advanced optical solutions, including high-fibre-count cables, its OptoBlaze and OptoBolt products, and 288F Closures. STL’s manufacturing base in Italy, combined with its commitment to co-creation, ensures efficient broadband rollouts.
To facilitate seamless and timely deliveries, STL has partnered with Wirewave, a distributor of high-quality fibre-optic infrastructure.
As of March 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM, the shares of Sterlite Tech Ltd are trading at ₹82.91 per share, reflecting a rise of 2.64% from the previous day’s closing price.
This partnership reinforces STL’s role in advancing Europe’s digital infrastructure, aligning with Wyre’s vision of a robust and efficient FTTH network. With STL’s innovative solutions, the project is set to drive seamless connectivity across Flanders and Brussels.
