Stock Market Holidays

The Indian stock exchanges have announced a list of stock market holidays for 2022. According to the Bombay Stock Exchange website, there will be 13 trade holidays in 2022, unlike in 2021, when there were 14 trading holidays. The Bombay Stock Exchange, or BSE Limited, is an Indian stock exchange on Dalal Street of Mumbai. It is one of the oldest stock exchanges in Asia. Also, BSE is the tenth oldest in the world and was founded in 1875 by cotton merchant Premchand Roychand.

Trading holidays for the SLB Segment, Currency Derivatives Segment, Equity Segment, Equity Derivative Segment, New Debt Segment, Commodity Derivatives Segment and Interest Rate Derivatives Segment are included in the BSE holiday list 2022. If you want to work at the National Stock Exchange, you should be aware that the market is closed on weekends, i.e. Saturdays and Sundays. It only works five days a week, from Monday to Friday. Aside from weekends, the market will be closed on the following days. If you are a stock investor or broker, it is a good idea to keep track of NSE Holidays 2022. This can assist you in properly planning your finances. This post contains the complete Bombay Stock Exchange Holidays List for 2022.
