The GIFT Nifty futures were down by 159.7 points, trading at 23,657 around 7:30 AM. 

In the previous session, the Sensex fell by 450.94 points (0.57%) to close at 78,248.13, while the NSE Nifty50 dropped 168.50 points (0.71%) to settle at 23,644.90. Here’s a look at the key stocks to watch today:

  • Adani Enterprises

Adani Enterprises has agreed to sell its entire 44% stake in the FMCG joint venture Adani Wilmar (AWL). The sale, set to occur in 2 tranches, is expected to generate approximately $2.2 billion (₹18,817 crore) for the Adani Group.

  • Reliance Industries (RIL)

Reliance Industries is offering crude oil from the KG-D6 offshore block at a premium of at least $3.5 per barrel over an international benchmark, according to a tender issued on Monday.

  • Lupin

Lupin has acquired Huminsulin from Eli Lilly in India to strengthen its diabetes treatment portfolio.

  • Adani Green Energy

CEO Amit Singh will step down to lead Adani Group’s International Energy Business from April 1, 2025. Ashish Khanna, currently the CEO of the international division, will take over as Adani Green Energy’s CEO.

  • ITC

NCLT Kolkata has approved ITC‘s hotel business demerger, effective December 16. ITC Hotels will be listed within 60 days of the order. The record date for shareholder eligibility is January 6, 2025.

  • IT Sector

India’s IT services sector is projected to grow by 7-9% in FY26, driven by spending in BFSI and generative AI segments, especially in the US and Europe.

  • Hindalco

Hindalco aims to start production at the Meenakshi coal mine in Odisha by 2028. The mine has a peak-rated capacity of 12 million tonnes per annum and reserves of 285.23 million tonnes.
