Supreme Power Equipment Limited (SPEL) a leading manufacturer of power and distribution transformers, has announced a significant order worth ₹21.30 crore from a prominent Chennai-based electric company.

Details of the Order

The order includes the manufacturing and supply of high-capacity oil-cooled distribution transformers, comprising:

  • 36 units of 1600KVA transformers,
  • 19 units of 2000KVA transformers, and
  • 2 units of 2500KVA transformers.

These transformers are designed to meet stringent performance standards, ensuring reliable and efficient power distribution.

Project Timeline

SPEL has committed to completing the delivery and execution of this project within approximately nine months, underlining its focus on timely delivery and high-quality manufacturing.

Current Order Book 

This order reinforces SPEL’s reputation as a trusted provider of high-quality transformer solutions in the domestic market. Following this win, the company’s current order book stands at ₹91.51 crore, with ₹84.51 crore for SPEL and ₹7 crore for its subsidiary, Danya Electric Company.

Stock Performance

On January 22, 2025, Supreme Power Equipment share price traded up by 0.98% at 10:13 AM (IST) at ₹220.90. Supreme Power Equipment’s share price reached a 52-week high of ₹420 on July 03, 2024, and a 52-week low of ₹101.30 on March 14, 2024. As per NSE, the total traded volume for the stock stood at 0.21 lakh shares with a turnover of ₹45 lakhs.
