On February 03, 2025, Tata Motors share price traded 2.27% lower at ₹690.10 at 12:06 PM (IST). Tata Motors’s share price reached a 52-week high of ₹1,179.05 on July 30, 2024, and a 52-week low of ₹684.25 on January 30, 2024. As per BSE, the total traded volume for the stock stood at 5.92 lakh shares with a turnover of ₹40.87 crore.

At the current price, Tata Motors shares are trading at a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 40.97x, based on its trailing 12-month earnings per share (EPS) of ₹16.84, and a price-to-book (P/B) ratio of 8.29, according to exchange data.

Shareholding Details

As of December 31, 2024, Tata Motors promoters held 42.58% of the shares, Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) owned 18.66%, and Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) held 16.54%.

Tata Motors Ltd (BEL) Q3 FY25 Results

Tata Motors announced its financial results for the October-December quarter of FY25, reporting a year-on-year (YoY) decline in consolidated net profit, which stood at ₹5,451 crore, down from ₹7,025 crore in the same period last year.

The decline in profit was attributed to weaker margins and subdued volumes at its Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) division. However, the company’s net profit saw an increase compared to ₹3,343 crore in Q2 FY25.

Tata Motors’ revenue from operations for the quarter increased marginally to ₹113,575 crore, compared to ₹109,799 crore in the previous fiscal year. The company’s Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation (EBITDA) fell to ₹13,081 crore, down from ₹15,333 crore in Q3 FY24. The EBITDA margin also saw a decline of 60 basis points YoY, reaching 13.7%.
