The benchmark index S&P BSE 500 opened today at 27,082.07 and made its day high at 27,137.43 and it is trading almost flat, down by around 0.04%                         

From the same space, these are the top 3 companies that outperformed the benchmark index and were up by more than 8% today.              

Shares of ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Limited were trading today with an up move by more than 8.20% on BSE. The scrip closed on Monday at Rs 12,938.80 and opened on Tuesday at Rs 12,981.70 a piece. Shares touched their fresh 52-week high today at Rs 14,000.95 after the surge. The 52-week high of the stock stood at Rs 14,000.95, whereas the 52-week low is Rs 8,444.75. Presently, the promoters are holding 75.00% whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 17.40% and 7.58%, respectively.                                                                                                        

Another top player today is IDBI Bank Limited. Shares were trading today with an up move by more than 8.50% on BSE today. The stock opened today at Rs 57.99 a piece and touched its fresh 52-week high today at Rs 63.25. The 52-week high of IDBI Bank Limited stood at Rs 63.25, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 35.30. Presently, the promoters are holding a 94.72% stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 0.47% and 4.84%, respectively.                 

One more top gainer today which shot up by more than 9.02% is Jindal Worldwide Limited. The stock opened at Rs 315 and touched a day high today at Rs 362 after the surge. On Monday the shares closed at Rs 307.80 a piece. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 477, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 198.40. Currently, promoters are holding 61.32% and the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 0.05% and 38.64%, respectively.
