Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 12 April, 2024

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex down around 356 points or 0.48% at 74,681, while the Nifty-50 was down around 89 points or 0.39% at 22,664. About 1,074 shares have advanced; 1,242 declined and 82 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Tata Steel Ltd, Nestle India Ltd and NTPC Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd, JSW Steel Ltd and Titan Company Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.36% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.19%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd and Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd, while the top small-cap gainers were Ashiana Housing Ltd and Ramco Systems Ltd.

The BSE Capital Goods Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Consumer Durables Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Capital Goods Index gained by 0.75%, up by Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd and Elgi Equipments Ltd while the BSE Healthcare Index is down by 0.21% dragged by Voltas Ltd and Natco Pharma Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Neuland Laboratories Ltd, Maharashtra Seamless Ltd and Metropolis Healthcare Ltd
