Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:
The top Sensex gainers were HDFC Bank, IndusInd Bank and Titan Company Ltd while the top Sensex losers were ICICI Bank, Wipro Ltd and Bajaj Finance Ltd.
The indices in the broader markets were trading in green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.55% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.79%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd and Voltas Ltd, while the top small-cap gainers were EKI Energy Ltd and Epigral Ltd.
The BSE Consumer Durables Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Information Technology Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Consumer Durables Index gained by 1.77%, up by Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd and Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd while the BSE Information Technology Index is down by 0.40% dragged by Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services Ltd and 3I Infotech Ltd.
In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: 63 Moons Technologies Ltd, Best Agro Life Ltd and TCNS Clothing Company Ltd.
