On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 357 points or 0.48% at 74,606, while the Nifty-50 was up around 93 points or 0.41% at 22,606. About 1,936 shares have advanced; 1,205 declined and 148 are unchanged on the BSE.
Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:
The top Sensex gainers were Reliance Industries Ltd, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd and Power Grid Corporation Ltd while the top Sensex losers were HDFC Bank, Titan Company Ltd and Wipro Ltd.
The indices in the broader markets were trading in green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.29% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.40%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Godrej Properties Ltd and Indraprastha Gas Ltd, while the top small-cap gainers were Paramount Communications Ltd and Abans Holdings Ltd.
The BSE Realty Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Services Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Realty Index gained by 2.10%, up by Macrotech Developers Ltd and Sobha Ltd while the BSE Services Index is down by 0.70% dragged by Adani Ports Ltd and Great Eastern Shipping Co. Ltd.
In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Paisalo Digital Ltd, Voltas Ltd and Info Edge (India) Ltd.
