Domestic indices, which started today’s trading session on a notably higher note, later trimmed their initial gains to trade flat. This pattern was also observed in the broader indices. The most affected sectors included energy, oil & gas, power, utilities and auto.
At 10:10 am, the BSE Sensex gained 0.13% reaching a level of 75,502. The Nifty 50 index edged up by 0.04% to the 22,965 level. On the Sensex, Tata Consultancy Services, HDFC Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank were among the top gainers, whereas Wipro, Maruti Suzuki and NTPC Ltd were among the market draggers.

Shares of Nazara Technologies Ltd, experiencing a surge in trading volume by hundreds of times today, dropped to a 52-week low of Rs 590.85 per share on the BSE. As a leading diversified gaming and sports media platform, Nazara Technologies has a presence in India and various emerging and developed markets, including Africa and North America. The company’s offerings span the interactive gaming, eSports, and gamified early learning ecosystems.
Shares of Ashima Ltd, witnessing a heavy surge in buying interest, climbed and hit the 20% upper circuit, reaching a 52-week high of Rs 28.75 per share on the BSE. The company is engaged in the manufacture of 100% cotton yarn-dyed shirting fabrics, denim fabrics, and ready-made garments, as well as the processing of textile fabrics. The company’s product segments include denims, the Spinfab division and the Dyecot division.
Shares of Danlaw Technologies India Ltd, which saw a ninefold surge in trading volume, began the session locked at a 5% upper circuit at Rs 1,773.90 per share on the BSE, but later declined. The company specializes in providing engineering and software development consulting services, as well as industrial electronics.
