At 10:30 am, the BSE Sensex gained 0.21% reaching a level of 75,549. The Nifty 50 index added 0.25% to the 22,988 level. On the Sensex, UltraTech Cement, Tata Steel and Hindustan Unilever were among the top gainers, whereas Tech Mahindra, Power Grid Corporation of India and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries were among the market draggers.

Shares of Timken India Ltd experienced a significant increase in trading volume today, soaring more than 7% to hit an intraday high of Rs 4,250 per share on the BSE. The company specializes in the manufacturing, distribution, and sale of anti-friction bearings, components, accessories, and mechanical power transmission products across various sectors. Additionally, it offers maintenance contracts, refurbishment services, and industrial services.
Shares of Inox Wind Ltd saw a massive surge in trading volume but faced heavy selling pressure, getting locked at the 10% lower circuit at Rs 147.65 per share on the BSE. As part of the Inox Group, the company manufactures wind turbine generators (WTGs) and provides wind energy solutions to independent power producers (IPPs), utilities, public sector undertakings (PSUs), corporations, and retail investors.
Shares of Concord Biotech Ltd opened lower and declined more than 5%, reaching an intraday low of Rs 1,365.10 per share on the BSE. The company is a research and development-driven biopharma manufacturer specializing in fermentation-based APIs. The company has a presence in more than 70 countries worldwide, supported by an efficient distribution infrastructure in markets such as the USA, Europe, Japan, Latin America, Africa, and Asia, in addition to a significant presence in the Indian market.
