At 10:55 am, the BSE Sensex plunged 3.86% reaching a level of 73,518. The Nifty 50 index slumped 3.92% to the 22,355 level. In today’s trading session, shares of Dabur India Ltd experienced a notable surge in trading volume, climbing approximately 5% to reach an intraday high of Rs 573.20 per share on the BSE. The company is a leading player in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, specializing in consumer care and food products.
Shares of Gujarat Industries Power Co Ltd faced heavy selling pressure, plunging more than 10% to an intraday low of Rs 187 per share on the BSE. The company is engaged in electrical power generation, with a diversified portfolio that includes thermal (gas and lignite), wind, and solar power plant assets in the state of Gujarat.
