On Wednesday, August 21, Zen Technologies Ltd., a provider of defence training solutions, introduced a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) with an initial issue size of Rs. 800 crore, with the potential to grow to Rs. 1,000 crore. Multiple people familiar with the development say that the base issue represents 5.95% of the company’s equity, with the possibility of it rising to 7.43%. The proceeds from the QIP will support the company’s working capital needs, general corporate purposes, and inorganic growth through acquisitions and strategic initiatives.
Today, the stock is showing a bullish move following the development of the Rs. 800 crore raise through QIP, with a stock currently trading at a price of Rs. 1,795.05 per share.
