Classic Filaments Share Price

Classic Filaments (CFL) was incorporated as V Natverlal Synthetics Pvt Ltd in Apr.'90. The original promoters were Vinod Kumar Agarwal and Rameshchandra Godiawala. The present promoters R M Mittal and Renu Mittal joined the company Board in 1991 and 1993 respectively. The company, renamed as Classic Filament6s Pvt Ltd in Sep.'93, was converted into a public limited company in Jan.'95. The company is engaged in the manufacture of texturised polyester yarn with an installed capacity of 350 tpa at Pipodara and Ankleshwar in Gujarat. In Dec.'95, the company came out with a public issue to part-finance its expansion programme involving the expansion of its capacity by installing four more texturising machines for the manufacture of additional 2850 tpa of yarn, at Karanj, Pipodara and Daman. As a measure of diversification, it is setting up a wind mill farm in Saurashtra, Gujarat, of 500-kW capacity, for its captive consumption.
