Incorporated in 1986, Inditalia Refcon (IRL) is in the business of manufacturing metallic packing material. N S Parulekar is the chairman and R K Mittal is the managing director of the company. The company is setting up a 100% EOU at Khopoli, Maharashtra, to manufacture refrigerated containers (reefers) at a cost of Rs 15.22 cr. The company came out with a public issue in Oct.'94, to part-finance the project. The technology is being provided by Franchin Engineering, Italy. It also has a 100% buy-back agreement for the first three years, with its collaborators.
