Khaitan (India) was incorporated in 1936. Khaitan Agro Complex merged with the firm from Jan.'94. It belongs to the Khaitan house. The company grows sugarcane and manufactures crystal sugar. It markets its products under the Khaitan brand name. The sugar mill has been overhauled and it expects to double the crushed quantity and improve sugar recovery. The company's reserved area has been enlarged and it is one of the largest sugar mills in the country. It plans to expand its sugar mill capacity to 2500 tcd. The operations at the Sugar Mill commenced from 04.12.2000 and the crushing for the was 4.37 lakh quintals of sugarcane as against 4.23 lakh quintals in the previous year.The sugar mill is under overhauling and is expected to run smoothly and efficiently.
