Oswal Overseas Ltd. is a public Company incorporated on 31st May 1984. The Company is having its operations in the State of Uttar Pradesh and is principally engaged in manufacturing of sugar, which is mainly sold in the State of Uttar Pradesh. About 50 million sugarcane farmers, their dependents and a large mass of agricultural labourer are involved in sugarcane cultivation, harvesting and ancillary activities. Today Indian sugar industry's annual output is worth approximately 80000 crores. During financial year 2016-17, the Company allotted and issued 60,00,000 fully paid up Non-Convertible Redeemable Preference Shares of Rs. 10/- each at par on Private Placement Basis. The paid-up capital of the company is Rs.12,46,10,500/- as on 31st March, 2016 divided into equity share capital of Rs. 6,46,10,500/- and Preference share capital of Rs 6,00,00,000/-.
