About Refex Renewables & Infrastructure
Incorporated in 1994 with the object of setting up a scampy farm hatchery and tiger shrimp hatchery, Scanet Exports Ltd., formerly known as Scanet Acqua Exports was promoted by Krishna Reddy and Meera Reddy and their associates. The promoters were engaged in merchandise exports of aqua products in the name of Coastal Sea Foods.
The company is engaged in setting up a scampy hatchery and tiger shrimp hatchery at Semmancherry village in Tamil Nadu and a scampy farm at Tatiparthi village in Andhra Pradesh. It has a technical collaboration with J V Marine Enterprises Company, Taiwan, for the project.The company made a public issue for Rs.20 lac in 1995.
In 1997 the company decided to shelve the implementation of scamy hatchery & farm and shrimp hatchery due to adverse conditions faced by the aqua industry.
The company made diversification by starting Computer Education Division with SSI Ltd as channel partner.
