Grasim Industries Recognised at Times Now Global Sustainability Alliance 2024

On June 27, 2024, Grasim Industries Limited informed in a stock exchange filing that the company was honoured at the 3rd edition of the Times Now Global Sustainability Alliance – Sustainable Organisation 2024 event.

The Global Sustainability Alliance is a platform for global change-makers, individuals, and organisations dedicated to championing sustainability. The 3rd edition of Times Now Sustainable Organisations 2024 aims to showcase and promote forward-thinking actions by sustainability leaders, celebrating their success stories, inspirations, and achievements in fostering responsible businesses and a greener future.

The Chief Financial Officer of Grasim Industries, Pavan Jain, received the Sustainable Organisation 2024 trophy, and Surya Valluri, its Chief Sustainability Officer, accepted the certificate.

The company stated that Ipsos, one of the largest market research firms operating in 90 markets with over 20,000 professionals, served as the research partner for identifying the Sustainable Organisations of India. Adhering to strict criteria, 40 companies were recognised from 300 identified sustainable organisations at the 3rd edition of the Times Now Global Sustainability Alliance – Sustainable Organisations 2024.

Meanwhile, in FY 2024, the company’s consolidated revenue reached an all-time high of ₹1,30,978 crore, up by 11% YoY, driven by strong underlying performance from its diversified business portfolio. In Q4 FY 2024, Grasim Industries Limited’s consolidated revenue stood at its highest level of ₹37,727 crore, reflecting a growth of 13% YoY.
