Job Title: UX Writer

Location: Bangalore

A UX Writer at AngelOne will be responsible for crafting clear, compelling, and user-centric language across our digital financial platform, ensuring that every word enhances user experience and supports our mission of making investing and financial services accessible and engaging.

What you will do: 

• Develop and refine microcopy, tooltips, error messages, onboarding flows, notifications, external and in-app content across AngelOne’s digital platforms (web and mobile)
• Create and take ownership of user interface copy and messaging in end-to-end journeys of product segments.
• Create and maintain a consistent brand voice that speaks to diverse users across different financial products (stocks, mutual funds, loans, insurance)
• Write clear, concise, and empathetic explanations of complex financial concepts and simplify financial decision making.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to create intuitive and user-friendly language
• Collaborate in user research and gather insights to inform writing strategies.
• Collaborate with UX design to drive decision making in content structure and information hierarchy.

Who you are: 

• 3+ yrs. of relevant experience in user-centered design and/or UX writing for web and mobile applications. 
• Proficiency in creating user-centric content for digital platforms
• Strong understanding of UX research and design principles
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Ability to maintain balance between creative, functional and technical writing.
• Strong collaborative skills with cross-functional teams including UX design, PMs and engineering
• Cultural sensitivity and understanding of diverse user backgrounds
• Proven experience in financial technology or digital platforms preferred
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. 
• A portfolio of relevant work samples showcasing remarkable execution, from process to outcomes.
