Change in Settlement Holiday from 28-Sep-2023 to 29-Sep-2023

The Settlement holiday on 28-Sep-23 due to Id-e-Milad has been changed to 29-Sep-2023. The Currency Segment will be closed on 29-Sep-2023 for trading. However, other segments are open for trading. There is also a trading holiday on 02-Oct-2023 due to Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti, therefore trades placed on 28-Sep-2023 will be impacted.

What this means for you:

  • You can place your Trades as usual, however the settlement of funds/securities will be processed as detailed in the table below:

    Please note: Settlement holidays refer to days when markets (except the Currency segment) are open for trading but when Depositories and/or Banks are closed. Due to this, all trades done during that day will be settled on the next settlement cycle, as per the respective segments.
