Change in Settlement Holiday from 28-Sep-2023 to 29-Sep-2023
The Settlement holiday on 28-Sep-23 due to Id-e-Milad has been changed to 29-Sep-2023. The Currency Segment will be closed on 29-Sep-2023 for trading. However, other segments are open for trading. There is also a trading holiday on 02-Oct-2023 due to Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti, therefore trades placed on 28-Sep-2023 will be impacted.
What this means for you:
Segment | Trade placed on | Date of Settlement |
Equity | 28-Sep | 03-Oct |
Derivatives (F&O) | 28-Sep | 03-Oct |
Segment | Account Balance Exclusions |
Equity | Intraday Profits made on 28-Sep |
Derivatives (Equity F&O, Currency & Commodity) | Credits Made From Trades Done On 28-Sep |
Please note: Settlement holidays refer to days when markets (except the Currency segment) are open for trading but when Depositories and/or Banks are closed. Due to this, all trades done during that day will be settled on the next settlement cycle, as per the respective segments.
