Compulsory KRA validation of email and mobile

With reference to the new KRA Registration Agencies (CVL) Circular (CDSL/OPS/DP/SYSTM/2023/493) dated 18-Aug-23, it is mandatory for clients to validate their email and mobile number through the KRA link (mentioned below) by 18-Aug-23 01-Sep-23. 

If you fail to do so, you will have to face the following consequences. 

  • Existing open positions under the margin in the derivatives segment will be squared off.
  • No fresh positions/rollover will be allowed till KRA is validated.
  • Temporary freezing of your Demat account till KRA is validated. 
  • Any debit balance remaining in your ledger will be cleared off on 31-Aug-23 on best effort basis by selling your holdings. So, please clear your debit balance before 30-Aug-23 to avoid squaring off.
