[Updated Mar-23] Deadline Alert: PAN-Aadhaar Linking!

Link your PAN-Aadhaar before 30-Jun-23(31-Mar-23 31-Mar-22 30-Sep-21 30-Jun-21)

Did you know: That u/s 139AA, Income Tax Act 1961, it is mandatory to link your PAN with your Aadhaar.

Last Date to link your PAN-Aadhaar: 30-Jun-23!

So if you still have not linked your PAN with your Aadhaar, then ensure that you do so at the earliest.

Here is what can happen if you do not complete this process by 30-Jun-23:

  • The PAN provided by you in your Angel Broking Trading & Demat Account will become inoperative
  • Your Angel Broking Trading & Demat account may also become inactive due to the same
  • You may not be able to conduct financial transactions which are mapped to your PAN  

    • What you need to do: Ensure that your PAN-Aadhaar linking is completed by 30-Jun-23

    How to link PAN with Aadhaar

    Via SMS:

  • Type message in the format UIDPAN<12 Digit Aadhaar> <10 Digit PAN>
  • Send the message to either 567678 or 56161 from your registered mobile number

    • Via e-Filing Website

  • Visit the Link Aadhaar option on the Income Tax e-Filing website
  • Enter your PAN and Aadhaar number
  • Enter the name as mentioned in your Aadhaar card
  • Click ‘Link Aadhaar’
