Is Personal Loan available for everyone?

Currently AngelOne is offering Personal Loans via its lending partners ONLY for a select group of its existing users. We will gradually be rolling out the product to more users, stay tuned!

Am I eligible for a personal loan from AngleOne via its Lending Partners?

You must be an existing AngelOne Customer. You must have a regular source of income to avail a personal loan, whether you are a salaried individual, self-employed business person or a professional. Your eligibility might also be affected by your credit repayment history, and other factors as per our lender partner’s criteria. Please note that AngelOne is facilitating the loan as a service provider to its lending partners, the decision to approve a loan request lies with the lender.

Should I always choose the lowest possible EMI when choosing my loan amount and tenure?

Low EMI offers can typically result from a low interest rate, a long repayment term, or a combination of the two factors. Thus in some cases, you might end up paying a lot more to your lender as interest if you choose the lower EMI option. Instead use online tools like the personal loan EMI calculator to figure out your interest payout over the loan tenure and your repayment capacity before making your decision.

How long does it take for a personal loan to be disbursed?

You can complete the application process via the AngelOne app and get the loan approval from our lender partners within 10 minutes. The usual time frame to complete the loan disbursal process may be under 1 hour, however in few cases it may take up to 48 hours (excluding Sat/Sun).

I applied but my loan got rejected. Why?

We regret to inform you that your application did not align with the requirements of our lender partners’ policy. We are unable to offer you a loan at this point in time.

My loan application got rejected. How can I reapply?

Once your loan application is rejected by our Lender Partners, you will need to wait for at least 90 days to initiate the application process again.

How would a NACH/eNACH setup help?

NACH/eNACH Mandate is a repayment service that allows us to easily automate monthly recurring payments, for example, loan EMIs. Hence, your monthly EMIs will be automatically collected from your bank on the due date. This setup will help you pay your EMIs on time!


PS: Making on-time payments helps increase your CIBIL score.

How much interest will be charged?

Interest rate along with applicable EMIs is shown to you during the loan application before availing the Loan.

Are personal loan interest rates fixed or floating?

Our lending partners charge for the loan only at a fixed interest rate. Your EMI amount remains fixed therefore every month during the loan tenure, you will pay the exact same amount as EMI.

What is the Annual Percentage Rate (APR)?

APR represents the overall annual loan cost as a percentage, covering interest rate and additional charges like processing fees associated with the loan. It reveals the true borrowing expense, crucial for customers to comprehend their actual loan expenditure.

What are the fees, Why should I pay them, Are there hidden fees?

All the applicable charges are shown clearly in the Loan Agreement, Sanction Letter, and KFS (Key Fact Statement). Please read them carefully while accepting the loan terms and conditions in the application journey.


Standard charges that are applicable are as follows:

Processing Fee + GST

Late Payment Fee - Only in cases of delayed EMI payments

Bounce Charges - Only in cases of EMI installment auto-debit bounce from the linked Bank Account


The actual Loan Amount will include the Net Amount received in your bank account + Processing Fee deduction and GST Invoice + Insurance Premium Amount (if opted in) will be sent to your preferred email ID.

What happens if I don't pay back OR miss EMI repayments on the Loan?

We strongly urge customers to avoid missing their loan monthly installment payments.

  1. AngelOne lender partners, will remind you through multiple channels to make your installment payment immediately if you have missed. A legal recourse may also be taken.
  2. You will be charged additional interest for non-payment as per the Loan agreement, which will increase your Loan balance. Till you pay the additional balance, your loan will not be considered closed, and will lower your Credit Score.
  3. AngelOne lender partners may consider not to provide additional loan offers in future.
  4. Credit Score such as CIBIL, Experian will also be reduced, which will create difficulty for the banks to give you any future loans (even a 2-Wheeler or Home loan) to you in future.

How can I pay my missed EMI / Foreclose the Loan?

In case due to inadvertent circumstances your EMI is not cleared from your bank account via the auto debit E-NACH mandate on the due date, you can visit the AngelOne app and pay it yourself through the Pay Now Section of the loan pass book itself using your net banking / debit card. Alternately the EMI mandate will be represented.


You may foreclose the loan as per the terms and conditions of the Lender, through the Foreclose Now Section of the loan pass book in the AngelOne app >> Loans page itself using your net banking / debit card.

When can I foreclose my loan?

In case due to inadvertent circumstances your EMI is not cleared from your bank account via the auto debit E-NACH mandate on the due date, you can visit the AngelOne app and pay it yourself through the Pay Now Section of the loan pass book itself using your net banking / debit card. Alternately the EMI mandate will be represented.

How can I change my Bank account used for repaying the EMI ?

Presently we do not have the feature of facilitating change of bank account used to set up the EMI mandate. We urge you to continue servicing your EMI through your Bank account that was used to set up at the time of Loan Disbursement.

When can I foreclose my loan?

Your eligibility for foreclosure varies depending on the lender partner. Please check your loan documents for details.

Do I have to pay any additional charges for foreclosure?

Yes, foreclosure charges will be levied on you that vary depending on factors including the loan amount and tenure. The foreclosure charges tend to be higher if you choose to close your loan earlier

Can I change my EMI due date?

We’re sorry to inform you that we will not be able to change your repayment date once a loan is approved and disbursed.

What is a credit score?

A credit score is a number that reflects your creditworthiness and repayment capability. It helps lenders assess your repayment capability when considering loans.

Who are the Lender Partners offering the Loans through AngelOne?

AngelOne Limited (AOL) partners with various lenders to offer loan services to its customers. The lender that is approving the Personal Loan offer is shown on the Loan Offer screen, Loan Agreement as well as in the Loan documents clearly. The Credit Information companies such as CIBIL, Experian will also show the Personal Loan with the same lender name.

You would have received the Loan Agreement T&C document, KFS and Sanction Letter on your registered email address post activation of your Personal Loan account. These documents mention the contact details of the lender fulfilling your Personal Loan.
