Indian markets are likely to open flat and may remain in green tracking the SGX Nifty global cues.

Despite the choppy trading the techheavy Nasdaq ended the session at a new record closing high. Traders seemed somewhat reluctant to make any significant moves ahead of the Federal Reserves monetary policy announcement on Wednesday.
The European markets endured a choppy day of trade Friday fluctuating between small gains and losses throughout the session. The markets ended with mixed results after snapping a 6session winning streak on Thursday. Investors seemed reluctant to make any major moves ahead of Mondays holiday.
The Indian markets were closed on Monday for a public holiday. Markets fell modestly on Friday as investors continued to book profits in recent outperformers ahead of a long weekend and next weeks FOMC meeting although no change in rates is expected
