Indian markets are likely to open positive tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
The US stocks saw some further upside during trading on Thursday. With the gains the major averages further offset the sharp pullback that was seen earlier in the week. Dow climbed 0.6 percent to 26496 and the Nasdaq advanced 0.6 percent to 7950.
The UK stock were moving lower on Thursday after data showed the British economy shrank by 0.1 percent in August marking the first monthly contraction since April. The FTSE 100 ended down by 0.2 percent to 7155.
On domestic front Indian market fell on Thursday with financials pacing the declines after IndusInd Bank reported an increase in gross nonperforming assets. The benchmark BSE Sensex ended down by 0.8 percent to 37880.
