Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
US Stocks fluctuated late in the session but managed to remain firmly positive throughout most of the trading day on Wednesday. With the upward move the Nasdaq and the SP 500 ended the session at their best closing levels in five and four months respectively. The Dow edged up 0.6 percent to 25703 while the Nasdaq inched higher by 0.7 percent to 7643.
U.K. markets ended marginally higher on Wednesday with investors reacting to some earnings and economic data from the zone and picking up stocks ahead of a nodeal Brexit vote. The FTSE 100 was up by 0.1% to 7159.
On domestic front Indian shares rose for a third straight session on Wednesday with a surging rupee on the back of strong foreign fund inflows and hopes of another RBI rate cut in April bolstering investor sentiment. The benchmark BSE Sensex was up by 0.6% to 37752 at the end of trading session.
