Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
The US stocks climbed firmly into positive territory over the course of the trading session on Wednesday. The advance on the day came on the heels of the significant downturn seen in the previous session. Dow climbed 0.6 percent to 26970 and the Nasdaq jumped 1.1 percent to 8077.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson faced calls to quit following yesterdays Supreme Court ruling and U.S. Democrats began impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump. The FTSE 100 was down by 0.8 percent to 7228.
On domestic front Indian markets fell sharply on Wednesday as weak global cues prompted traders to book some profits after recent sharp gains following the tax cut announcement. The benchmark BSE Sensex was down by 1.3 percent to 38593.
