Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
U.S. stocks fluctuated over the course of the trading session on Friday after ending the previous session mostly higher. The major averages spent the day bouncing back and forth across the unchanged line before ending the day roughly flat. Bothe the Dow and the Nasdaq inched up 0.1 percent to 26458 and 8046 respectively.
UK stocks fell modestly on Friday after data showed the U.K. economy grew by 0.5 percent in the second half of this year marking the weakest halfyear growth since 2011. The FTSE 100 was down by 0.5 percent at 7510.
On domestic front Indian stocks fluctuated on Friday as oil prices continued to surge and financials remained under selling pressure ahead of RBI policy meeting next week. The BSE Sensex fell for the third straight session by 0.3% to 36227.
