Good til Canceled

A buy or sell limit order is an instruction to buy or sell a specific security at a specified price or better. It differs from a market order, where the transaction is executed at the current market price. With a limit order, the transaction will only take place if the market price reaches the specified limit. This type of order remains active until it is cancelled by the investor.
