Sight draft (sight bill)

A crucial aspect of understanding financial instruments is recognizing the concept of demand or presentation. Essentially, this refers to the requirement for the holder of the instrument - whether it be the payee, endorsee, or bearer - to present it for payment within a reasonable timeframe. Failure to do so may result in the instrument becoming invalid. This emphasizes the importance of prompt action and careful consideration when dealing with financial instruments.
